One of the most assiduous supporters in my bloggy world is the delightful Willow Willers who I’ve met several times at bashs in London and Birmingham. Her energy and enthusiasm for other bloggers is extraordinary and it was no surprise when she kindly offered a tea and cake conversation on her blog to help the launch of my book of poetry, The Sincerest Form Of Poetry.
If you click on the link below you will be taken straight into the tea and cakes; and in amongst the crumbs you’ll find out how Rudyard Kipling set me on my path to reinterpretation of many great English language poems.

Kipling was one of dad’s favourite poems and he would re-read many. Indeed as families do, he coined the verb ‘to Kipple’ meaning to read a Kipling poem, if ever he felt the need to explain why he’d been absent from some domestic duty
‘Sorry, darling, I was just Kipling’

To Kipple,
I Kipple,
You Kipple
They Kipple
We Kipple
Noun : a Kippler,
Past tense: Kippled
Present tense : Kipling.
