Poetry? A limerick? Does That Count?

Esther Chilton prompts limericks on her blog, here. This week’s prompt was moan and this is what occurred… Make of it what you will…

After an epic Kardashian moan,
The devil turned Kim’s buttocks to stone.
Being no longer callipygous*
She became quiet religious
And joined a convent so as to atone.

*in case this is a bit obscure – callipygous: having or pertaining to beautiful buttocks, easily one of my favourite words

Ooh I do love a good limerick. Here’s mine (inspired by you, obvs!)

    An insecure woman named Joan
    Was invariably having a moan
    Yet her bod was callipygous,
    And her voice was mellifluous,
So why did she constantly groan?
