Judy at Edwina’s Episodes asked me to join this challenge and here we are, already at day two. I said, yesterday I wouldn’t nominate anyone I lied. I finger my brother, the Archaeologist who blogs at the Curious Archaeologist. Do check him out.
Because he’s my brother and he so owes me, big time, I’m not making this easy. I want three quotes, brother, that link Jane Austen, The Venerable Bede and Patrick Moore. Ha!

About TanGental
My name is Geoff Le Pard. Once I was a lawyer; now I am a writer. I've published several books: a four book series following Harry Spittle as he grows from hapless student to hapless partner in a London law firm; four others in different genres; a book of poetry; four anthologies of short fiction; and a memoir of my mother. I have several more in the pipeline.
I have been blogging regularly since 2014, on topic as diverse as: poetry based on famous poems; memories from my life; my garden; my dog; a whole variety of short fiction; my attempts at baking and food; travel and the consequent disasters; theatre, film and book reviews; and the occasional thought piece. Mostly it is whatever takes my fancy.
I avoid politics, mostly, and religion, always. I don't mean to upset anyone but if I do, well, sorry and I suggest you go elsewhere.
These are my thoughts and no one else is to blame. If you want to nab anything I post, please acknowledge where it came from.
What a fantastic picture!

Yes brother, I will accept your challenge, though – as you declined to post the rules, I will make some up myself and post my responses in a few days.

I got into such trouble with dad for that, mucking up a perfectly good picture. Those were the days of rolls of film and expensive developing…

Oops, sorry, pressed send too early!
My parents recently unearthed boxes of old photos… Nothing like holding a proper photo and giggling at the memories! Though as they are a bit far for me to pop home of an evening,Mohegan take pictures of the funny photos and send them via Whatsapp to my brother and I!!

He’ll love it. It’s a real pain playing 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon with him and his son.
