Who would hurt a fairy?

Sticking a fairy atop a prickly pine tree might seem to be the height of cruelty unless you are raising money for the dogs trust. Lovely cuddly Hugh is doing just that, a pound for every topped out Christmas Treetop that is featured on his site So here is my first, courtesy of the Lawyer’s tree. Since said fairy is doing a great impression of my mum she will have to be called Barbs, which may also cover what she is sitting on.

If if you’d like to join in here is the link to Hugh’s blog.

PS the family portrait behind the tree is of Great Aunt Marigold who famously acted as surrogate mother to the love child of Keith Richard and WHAuden, reputedly the only turkey credited to either.

Oh, I think it’s an angel! Did you ever hear the story about how the angel got on top of the tree?

  2. Thanks for participating in my charity photo challenge in aid of The Dogs Trust, Geoff. My eyes were drawn to that picture and I’m so glad you explained what it is. Barbs the Angel looks very happy sat there. In fact, she looks like she is doing some disco dancing.
