777 Writer’s Challenge.
The rules are to go to the 7th page of your current WIP, find the 7th sentence, and then paste the following 7 sentences into your blog post. You must then nominate 7 other writers to do the same.
Odd. I did as I was bid (Thanks Ali and Sue) and the above appeared. It happens to be the meeting of my two protagonists. You couldn’t find a more important moment. It feels like it should be 666 not 777, given how spooky that is. Someone ought to receive a grant and undertake a leximetric analysis of all novels to identify if the key moments always conform to a 777 structure.
