Tricky. Damned Tricky. This is what trickled out….

At night, among black pigs,

He needed to see the light

To save his beacon.

My name is Geoff Le Pard. Once I was a lawyer; now I am a writer. I've published four books - Dead Flies and Sherry Trifle, My Father and Other Liars, Salisbury Square and Buster & Moo.   2. To save his “beacon”. 😀 I need to start writing these. Every week they seem too difficult. I’m not a poet. And I know it. Is it supposed to be 7-6-5? I’d always done 5-7-5 but, again…not a poet. I think it varies.

  6. This haiku deserves an award for the most original and funniest haiku I’ve ever read on here.

    I didn’t think they could be funny, but you’ve just taken the ‘bacon’ so to speak. 🙂
